Print Production Coordinator

 

Position Summary: The Print Production Coordinator is responsible for providing a wide variety of project management and support duties for our direct mail account teams.  The ideal candidate is a “self starter” who can multi-task—someone who can work directly within a small but quickly growing team, and with numerous clients, to manage various and concurrent print and non-print projects. 

 

Essential job functions:

• Create print specifications, bid out print and mailshop jobs and consolidate bids into one budget
• Proof direct mail copy and art, and ensure timely approvals from client
• Create print, personalization, and mailshop purchase orders
• Draft preliminary direct mail list orders
• Monitor client deliverables and proactively work with clients to keep projects on schedule
• Gather information, coordinate and prepare client summary reports

 

Qualifications — general and technical:

• 3+ years print/production experience
• Previous print experience or direct mail fundraising experience is desirable
• Experience working with multiple vendors
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Strong written communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to independently establish work priorities
• Ability to work under pressure and multi-task
• Excellent organizational and project/time management skills
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Passion for the nonprofit sector

Account Manager

 

Position Summary: Reporting to a Senior Account Executive, the Account Manager is responsible for providing a wide variety of project and account management duties for our direct mail account teams. The ideal candidate is a self starter who can multi-task, working directly within a small but quickly growing team and numerous clients, managing various and concurrent projects.

 

• Provide management of client direct marketing fundraising programs
• Develop and execute year-long direct marketing fundraising schedules
• Prepare and secure strategy documents and budget approvals for individual projects
• Work with clients to identify topics, issues, and projects for fundraising appeals
• Prepare periodic reports that evaluate client direct marketing fundraising programs with recommendations for improvements and additional work
• Work with various list brokers to develop lists of lists for acquisition mailings
• Select segments of a membership/donor database for renewal and appeal mailings
• Guide production management and graphic design process for each client project
• Develop strategies to up-sell/cross-sell additional services to assigned clients

 

Qualifications — general and technical:

• 4+ years relevant work experience
• Excellent organizational and project/time management skills
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Strong written communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to independently establish work priorities
• Ability to work under pressure and multi-task

Account Executive


Position Summary: Reporting to a Vice President, the Account Executive provides strategic leadership for direct marketing fundraising programs with nonprofit organizations who are our clients. The Account Executive also serves as the lead relationship manager for a portfolio of several clients, and works within a team to deliver direct marketing fundraising programs.

Essential job functions:

• Provide strategic oversight of client direct marketing fundraising programs
• Develop and execute year-long direct marketing fundraising schedules
• Prepare and secure strategy document and budget approvals for individual projects
• Work with clients to identify topics, issues, and projects for fundraising appeals
• Draft appeal letters, or work with copywriters to draft letters, for individual mailings
• Travel several times a year to meet face-to-face with clients for the purpose of strengthening the relationship and providing program updates
• Prepare periodic reports that evaluate client direct marketing fundraising programs with recommendations for improvements and additional work
• Work with various list brokers to develop lists of lists for acquisition mailings
• Select segments of a membership/donor database for renewal and appeal mailings
• Guide production management and graphic design process for each client project
• Develop strategies to up-sell/cross-sell additional services to assigned clients
• Assist the company in meeting with prospective clients and in preparing new business proposals to select prospective clients

Qualifications — general and technical:

• 7+ years relevant work experience
• Passion for the nonprofit sector
• Superior written communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong knowledge of direct marketing and individual donor fundraising
• Excellent organizational and project/time management skills
• Attention to detail, resourcefulness, and multi tasking
• Ability to establish work priorities, work under pressure and multi-task
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
