The Mal Warwick Donordigital Anti-Racism Statement

 

Mal Warwick Donordigital was founded over 40 years ago on the vision of supporting nonprofit organizations and political causes working to make the world a better place. That included our steadfast belief that Otherism—including racism, bigotry, or discrimination of any other sort against any person—is self-defeating because it impedes our shared progress.

MWD has long championed a fair and equitable workplace, and in 2018 we formalized our practice in Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (DE&I). We fully embrace this work as a long-term journey that will include a company-wide approach of change. To that end, we’re proud to release our Anti-Racism Statement. This statement outlines our commitment to becoming an anti-racist organization and acting to eliminate any form of oppression we can identify within our reach. The statement acknowledges the fact that we, like every other organization in our society, have been impacted by white supremacy culture, and outlines our dedication to disrupting systems of racism and oppression in our company, our work, and our industry.

This guiding document includes company, leadership, and Board goals to hold us accountable to this commitment for years to come, and we envision the language we employ will evolve and change with us over time.
